Jon Ozirny

Jon Ozirny is the Vice President, Legal and Corporate Secretary at TransAlta. 

Jon provides oversight of legal functions relating to commercial, dispute, regulatory and trading matters. He also serves as Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors.  

Before joining TransAlta, Jon served as General Counsel at Certarus Ltd., overseeing all legal and corporate governance matters. Prior to that, he was an associate at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP, specializing in corporate and commercial law.
