Trapper Valley

Trapper Valley Wind Project (“the Project”) is a mid-stage development project located in Uinta County, Wyoming. The Project site is located on approximately 21,000 acres of privately owned land. The Project has filed its interconnection with PacfiCorp in their southwest Wyoming (Rocky Mountain Power) region. TransAlta is expanding its 144MW Wyoming Wind facility in Uinta County with the addition of the 225MW Trapper Valley project. The local community and the jurisdictional approval agencies have expressed strong support for the Project and TransAlta.
