Red Rock

Red Rock Wind Project (“the Project”) is an early-stage development project located in Cypress County, Alberta. TransAlta intends to start environmental studies and engineering activities for the Project in 2023 or 2024. The Project is currently progressing through the interconnection queue and is expected to energize post 2026.

The Project will have a nameplate capacity of up to 100 MW.
