Old Town Wind Project (“the Project”) is a mid-stage development project located in Marshall County, Illinois. The Project site is located on approximately 10,000 acres of privately owned land. The project is under development with an interconnection point in the MISO region. TransAlta has experience developing projects within the region and has created strong local community support for the Project.

TransAlta has collected four years of meteorological data across two meteorological towers on the site which offers an opportunity to support new renewable projects in MISO.

The Project will have a nameplate capacity of up to 185 MW.
