Tomlin Mill
Tomlin Mill is one of twenty solar assets owned and operated under the name North Carolina Solar. A ground mount system over a 29.8 acre (120,600 square meter) area in Iredell County, North Carolina; the Tomlin Mill site has the capacity to generate 6.7 megawatts of renewable energy.
With 55,440 two by one meter solar panels installed, Tomlin Mill came on stream in May 2021 and is fully contracted to the Duke Energy Carolinas.
The site uses First Solar 4120A modules, Kaco Blueplanet 150 TL3 inverters and an RBI Solar fixed-tilt mounting system.
