Plott Hound

Plott Hound is one of twenty solar assets owned and operated under the name North Carolina Solar. A ground mount system over a 25.0 acre (101,170 square meter) area in Craven County, North Carolina; the Plott Hound site has the capacity to generate 6.7 megawatts of renewable energy.

With 15,480 two by one meter solar panels installed, Plott Hound came on stream in May 2021 and is fully contracted to the Duke Energy Progress.

The site uses First Solar 6435A modules, Kaco Blueplanet 150 TL3 inverters and an RBI Solar fixed-tilt mounting system.
