Mountain Peak Power

The Mountain Peak Power facility is located near Denver, Colorado. The facility is a natural gas-fired peaking power plant with a gross installed capacity of 162 megawatts and has been in operation since September 2025.

The facility is equipped with six GE LM2500XPRESS gas turbines, providing flexible generation to support periods of peak electricity demand. The facility is fully contracted under a 30-year fixed-capacity tolling agreement with United Power, Inc.
