Horizon Hill

Horizon Hill is a 202-megawatt wind facility located in Logan County, Oklahoma, 62 kilometres (39 miles) north of Oklahoma City.

It is the second-largest wind facility in TransAlta's renewable energy portfolio in the United States.

The facility consists of 34 Vestas V162 and V136 turbines, of which 33 have 119-metre towers and one has a 105-metre tower.

Horizon Hill is owned and operated by TransAlta.

Environmental highlights

The Horizon Hill Wind farm is a Green-e CRS Listed facility through the Centre for Resource Solutions.
