TransAlta’s first quarter conference call – April 21, 2006
CALGARY, Alberta (April 10, 2006) – TransAlta Corporation (TSX: TA; NYSE: TAC) will release its first quarter 2006 results early in the morning on April 21, 2006. A conference call and webcast to discuss the results will be held for analysts and members of the media the same day beginning at 9 a.m. MDT (11 a.m. EST).
The call will begin with a short address by Steve Snyder, President and CEO and Brian Burden, Executive Vice-President and CFO, followed by a question and answer period for investment analysts. A question and answer period for the media will immediately follow.
