CALGARY, Alberta (Oct. 31, 2007) – Brian Burden, TransAlta Corporation’s (TSX:TA;NYSE:TAC), Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, will speak at Edison Electric Institute’s 42nd Financial Conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on Nov. 6 at approximately 10:30 a.m. EST.
