Dartmouth

Dartmouth

This ground mount system in the town of Dartmouth, Massachusetts is one of five solar assets owned and operated under the name Mass Solar. With three adjacent sites over 86 acres (just over 0.3 square kilometers), Dartmouth came on stream in 2014 and has the capacity to generate 7.5 megawatts. The energy from the 26,870 solar panels is fully contracted right in the same community, to the Town of Dartmouth and the Sheriff of Bristol County.

The site uses AUO PM 240 WP modules, Suntech 280/290/295 modules, AE 500NX/250NX inverters and a Solar FlexRack mounting system.

Like the other Mass Solar projects, this site is qualified under phase one of the Massachusetts Solar Energy Renewable Credit (SREC-I) program.
